Ruby Brock Ward went to be with the Lord at her residence September 10, 2013. She was one of the last residents that came out of New hope Community. She worked at Twins Cafe, Hoskins Drug Store and Magnet Knitting Mills. Ruby loved walking to town, going places and loved people. She was always ready to go.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Ward; parents, Sam and Ella Brock; six sisters and one brother.
She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a great aunt, which traces back six generations.
The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12th from 6-8pm at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Graveside service will be Friday, September 13th at 1:00pm at Sunset Cemetery with Rev.
