Roy E. Hemphill, age 92 of Clinton, formerly of Denver, CO and Akron, OH, passed away November 23, 2014 at Golden Living -Windwood. He was a member of the Oak Ridge Elks Lodge No. 1684. Roy was the owner of Hemphill Gas Station and Towing and worked 30 years in the towing business. He enjoyed watching sports and fishing in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Pearl Allen Hemphill; 4 brothers; 2 sisters.

Daughter: Diane Cash and husband Don

Grandchildren: John Edward Hemphill, II, Julie Kurt, and Jeffery Cash

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Terry Baker officiating.
