Roxie Faye (Datson) Kent, age 79 of Oliver Springs, TN, passed away on Friday, September 6, 2013 at Methodist Medical Center. She was born on September 5, 1934 in Lexington, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denver Datson; mother, Middie White Hooks; daughter, Kimberly Sue Lovette; granddaughter, Cassie Miranda Lovette; grandmother, Elizabeth Massengill.

Faye grew up in the Dutch Valley area and attended Dutch Valley Baptist Church. She lived there for many years before moving to Oliver Springs, TN. She enjoyed reading, sightseeing and watching old movies. She had been in declining health for some time but she always kept a positive attitude. She was fondly known as Faye to all of her family and friends.
She attended the old Marlow School in Anderson County.
She worked for many years at the Alexander Inn in Oak Ridge. She was excited to see the restoration of the building and enjoyed keeping up with all the details about it. She was looking forward to its completion.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 11th from 12-2PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will begin at 2 o'clock in the funeral home chapel.
