Ronnie Taylor Stokes, age 69 of Clinton, formerly of Caryville, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville. He was born on April 23, 1947 to the late Thomas and Geneva Queener Stokes in Campbell County. Ronnie was a veteran of the Army and retired from the TVA. He was a kind and caring person who enjoyed life. He also enjoyed traveling and liked to deep sea fish. Ronnie treasured spending time with his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brother-in-law Don Jordan.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 6-8pm with the funeral service to follow at 8pm with the Rev. Brandon Young officiating. Graveside services will be on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 2pm at Queener Cemetery in Caryville with full military honors provided by the Campbell County Honor Guard.
