Ronald Lee "Ron" Johnson passed away July 20, 2013 at the University of Tennessee Hospital. Ron was in the US Navy before earning his J.D. at the University of Tennessee. After graduating, he became a Special Agent for the FBI, retiring after 22 years. He then went to work as Assistant Public Defender in Anderson County and retired from there after 12 years. He was an avid fisherman and UT volunteer fan throughout his life, but what defined him most was his love and devotion to his wife of 57 years, Nell Johnson and his children and grandchildren: Kim Rouser and her husband Martin Rouser and their children Andrew Rouser and Spencer Rouser and his wife Stephanie Rouser, Gloria Johnson, and Chuck Johnson and his wife Sheri Johnson and their children Cameron Johnson and Landon Johnson. He was a loving brother to Nina and CH Gault, Stanley and Rosalee Johnson, and Larry and Nancy Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ruby Johnson.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 24, 2013 from 6-8 pm, with service to follow immediately at Calvary Baptist Church, 1902 West Raccoon Valley Road, Heiskell, TN.
