Roger Lee Phillips age 54 of Briceville went home to be with his Lord on Monday, May 4, 2015. He was born in Lake City, TN on April 21, 1961 to Verlin and Mary Emmagean Phillips. Roger was a member of the Laurel Grove Baptist Church where he was the choir director and was very dedicated to the Lord. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing and gospel music. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. Roger is preceded in death by his Father, Verlin Phillips.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Friday, May 8, 2015 from 5:00-8:00PM. Roger's funeral service will be held at the Laurel Grove Baptist Church on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00PM with the Rev, David White officiating. Interment will follow at the Laurel Grove Cemetery.
