Rochelle Loy, age 81, of Oak Ridge, TN, passed away at her residence on Sunday, February 23, 2025.  Rochelle was born January 6, 1944, in Oak Ridge, TN, to the late William and Floella Burks. Rochelle's life was a testament to her love for the Lord, her family, and the love she had for animals.   She found joy in quilting and sewing.  Her love and warmth will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, William Loy; sister, Janice Kidwell; brothers, William "Bill" Burks and Howard Paul Burks; nephews, David Cherry, Matthew Hill, and Seth Morrison; niece, Hannah Cherry; step-father, Dail Skaggs.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Strong & wife Anna, Brian Strong, and Melissa Smith; daughter-in-law, Sherry Strong; loving sister, Phyllis Hill; grandchildren, Justin, Blake, Branden, Briannon, Bradlee, Mackinzie, Mason, Micah, Melody, Mackamey, and Marc-Alan; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Darlene Burks; nieces, Vicki Limbaugh and Billie Amber & husband Mike; great-niece, Rebekah Cherry; nephews, Doug Kidwell, Josh Morrison & wife Melissa, Chad Davidson & wife Anna, Jeremy Morrison, Justin Mounce & wife Brooke, and Jadon Mounce; great nephew, Matthew Ramsey & wife Kirsten.

The family would like to thank her great nieces, Christina Tippens & husband Brent, Andrea Townsend & husband JC, Heather Monger & husband Scott, and Catie Morrison; nieces, Susan Morrison & husband Carl and Lynne Murphy, for the loving care and thoughtfulness given to Rochelle and her sister, Phyllis during the last couple of weeks.

The family would also like to thank the nurses and caregivers at Quality Home Healthcare and Amedisy's Hospice for the loving care and support given to Rochelle and her family.

The family will have a Celebration of Life from 2:00-4:00 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2025, at First Baptist Church, Family Life Center in the hearth room, 230 N. Charles G. Seivers Blvd., Clinton, TN 37716.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
