Robert
Moser
Jul 25, 1940 — Aug 26, 2026
Clinton
Robert “Robby” Gordon, age 86, a lifelong resident of Anderson County, passed away peacefully at his residence on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. Bobby was born in Anderson County on July 25, 1940, to the late Robert A. and Juanita Moser.
Bobby graduated from Clinton High School in 1958 and proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Following his military service, he returned home to Anderson County, where he spent much of his life doing what he loved most—working the land and caring for his cattle on the family farm.
A longtime cattleman and farmer, Bobby took great pride in the farm and the life he built there. Farming was more than an occupation; it was a way of life. He treasured the many years spent tending to his cattle, working the land, and carrying on the traditions of his family farm. His deep roots in Anderson County and his dedication to agriculture were an important part of who he was throughout his life.
Robby is survived by his sister, Louise Moser Fawley of Riverside, CA; nephews, Greg Fawley & wife Anita of Seal Beach, CA, and Steve Fawley (Kristen Flores) of Long Beach, CA; cousins, Mary Crone of Sevierville, Nancy Banks of Knoxville, and Carol Trevathan of Fulsheer, TX; special friend, Steve Shaver of Knoxville.
In accordance with Bobby’s wishes, there will be no formal service. His friends and loved ones will honor his memory privately and remember a life deeply connected to family, farming, and the Anderson County community he called home. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
