Robert Lynn Braden, age 90 of Clinton, passed away at his home on May 26, 2025. Born to Jesse R. and Ruby M. Braden on February 12th 1935, making him the 3rd of 8 children, and 90 years in age.

As a young man, Bob served in the US Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a proud Mason, a past Master serving for 49 years until illness prevented his devotion. He was a hard-working, devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, antique​ tractor enthusiast, and marathon runner. In his spare time he farmed.

Bob was preceded in glory by his wife of 62 years, Helen S. Braden; great-grandson, Jason R. Braden III; son-in-law, David W. Anderson along with 5 siblings: MaryNell Carden, Barbara Foust, Jenny Irwin, Jackie Braden, and JT Braden. He was also preceded by sister-in-laws, Shirley S. Moore and Margaret S. Clack; as well as niece, Charlcie F. Moore and nephew, Michael T. Irwin.

He is awaiting the arrival of his daughter, Sherry B. Anderson; son, Jason R. Braden; grandsons; Jason R. Braden II, Samuel and his wife Kassi Bean, and Taylor JL Braden; great-granddaughter Remedy; along with his siblings, Janie Irwin and James (Buddy) Braden; many nieces and nephews, plus special family friends, Joni L. Lee and Eddie W. Romines.

One of the things he said a lot was, "When my daddy died, there was work to be done; when I die, there will be work for you to do; when you die those you leave behind will have work to be done." "The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit." "What you leave behind is not what is engraved in stone monuments, but what is woven into the lives of others."​ Bob will be remembered with love while greatly missed.

Receiving of friends will be from 12-1 pm on Saturday, June 7, 2025 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. A Memorial and Masonic service will begin at 1 pm with Nathan Braden officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow at Anderson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue.
