Robert Warren Coker was born November 5, 1935 in Ages, KY and passed away July 31, 2016. He was a graduate of Evarts, KY High School and Cumberland College. Robert's professional life included 30 years with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. During his career with Met he earned the credential Chartered Life Underwriter. He was also an accomplished musician and utilized this to bring joy into the lives of many. After retiring from Met he served as a Hospice volunteer. Robert was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton, TN where he was active in the XYZ program. Preceded in death by his parents, Thelma and Wilma Coker; sisters, Jacqueline Adams and Myrna McGlamery; brother, Billy Coker; and great grandchild, Lillie Kay Kimsey.

The family will receive friends 11:00AM-1:00PM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Services will follow in the chapel at 1:00PM with Dr. Stan Elliott and Rev.
