Raymond Woods, age 73, of Clinton, passed away at his residence on Friday, August 30, 2024. Raymond was born February 7, 1951, in Oliver Springs, Tennessee, to the late Melvin and Joyce Imogene Woods. Throughout his life, he loved anything related to woodworking, especially whittling and embroidery.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Woods, Ronnie Woods, and Roscoe Butch Woods.

He is survived by his daughter, Mary Woods of Morristown; sisters Juanita "Peanut" Bealer of Clinton and Melba Levy of Ten Mile; his daughter's mother, Vickie Aslinger of Campbell County; special friends Joe and Patty Smith of Briceville and Michael Farley of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews.
