Raymond William Utley, age 95, of Clinton, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013 at the Golden Living Center-Windwood. He met Our Lord and Savior, his wife, Pauline Bullock Utley, and others who preceded in him death; father, Arthur William Utley; mother, Nevada Vaughn Utley Disney; step father, Henry Disney; brothers, Elmer and Jesse Disney; sisters, Lillian Duncan Disney and Juanita Disney.

He retired from Rust Engineering in Oak Ridge, TN as a welder and pipefitter. He enjoyed farming and gardening most of his life. He was a member of Plumbers and Steam Fitters Local #102 in Knoxville. He was a member of Hillvale Baptist Church in Clinton, TN where he served as a trustee and as Sunday School Superintendent for many years.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staff and caregivers of the Meadowview Assisted Living Center for their love and care during his stay there. Also, a special thank you to the caregivers at Golden Living Center-Windwood and UT Hospice for their kindness and compassion during his time there.

The family will receive friends 5:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, September 15, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Charles Harness and Rev. Allen Giles officiating. His burial will be 11:00 am, Monday at the Hillvale Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. holleygamblefh.com
