Raymond Boshears, age 73, of Lafollette, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Cumberland Village Health and Rehab Center. Raymond was born on October 21, 1940 in Claiborne County, Tennessee to the late Raymond and Mary Hopkins Boshears. Raymond was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Jacksboro, Tennessee. He was retired from the US Navy after serving 21 years and also serving in the Vietnam War. Raymond enjoyed taking long drives with his wife, Lucy through the country. He was also an avid hot-rodder and loved working on his cars. He will be dearly missed. In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by Sister, Emma Gosnell.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Monday, October 28, 2013 from 6-8PM with the funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with the Rev. Clarence Duncan officiating. Raymond's interment will be held at the Powell Valley Cemetery on Tuesday, October 29 2013 at 1:00PM with full military honors presented by the Campbell County Honor Guard. www.holleygamblefh.com
