Ray Cecil Jones, age 80, of Clinton passed away Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. Ray loved many things but first and foremost, he loved the Lord. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and siblings. He was an avid ginseng hunter, loved being outdoors, picking berries, gardening, and wood working. Preceded in death by wife, Mildred Jones; parents, Ridley and Ernie Jones; brother, Leon James.

The family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00 PM Monday, April 19, 2010 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton with the funeral service to follow in the chapel. His burial will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Patterson Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.
