Ramond Max Lawson, age 82, passed away October 10th at 5:18am. He was born September 26, 1929 in Island Home. Max was a loving husband and father. He was a member of Providence Church, where he served as Trustee, Deacon and Music Director.
Max was a Navy Veteran of the Korean conflict. He retired from Y-12 Plant in Oak Ridge and served on the Board of Directors at Y-12 Credit Union. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, AO, Sr., and Mary Sise Lawson; brother, Roland; sisters, Hannah and Helen; daughter, Sheri.

Receiving of friends will be Friday, October 14th from 10-12 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will be at 12PM with Pastor David Simpson officiating. Graveside service will follow at Zion Baptist Church cemetery in Claxton. Fellowship will be held at Providence Church in Claxton following the graveside service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ben Atchley State Veteran's Home, Activities Dept., One Veterans Way, Knoxville, TN 37931.
