Obituary


Ralph Leroy Hylton, aged 70 of Clinton, passed away May 31, 2015 at the University of Tennessee's Heart Hospital in Knoxville. He grew up in Clinton and then lived in Knoxville for many years, returning to Clinton recently. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a B.S. in Education in 1968. He taught and coached at Oliver Springs Middle School from 1968-1972. He was Chief Financial Officer of Ditch Witch Equipment of Tennessee for many years and was currently Vice President/Owner of TennCom Construction. He enjoyed cooking and grilling, golf, and vacationing with his family.
Preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Maggie Henley Hylton, sister-in-law Judy Golden Hylton, and nephew, Gary Hylton.

Wife: Madaline Waters Hylton
Daughters: Amanda Fowler and husband Brian of Austin, Texas; Natalie Zeigler and husband Joshua of Knoxville
Son: Riley Groves of Nashville
Granddaughters: Emmeline Fowler, Maggie Zeigler, Jasmine Groves
Grandsons: Thomas Fowler, William Zeigler, Henry Zeigler
Brother: James Hylton of Clinton
Nephews: Mike Hylton and wife Amy of Oak Ridge; Jeff Hylton and wife Christa of Brooklyn, New York
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 6, from 2-6 p.m., at 1412 Eagle Bend Drive in Clinton. Graveside service will be Sunday, June 7, at 4:00 p.m. at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Powell.
