YARNELL, Rachel - age 91 of Clinton, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 at Methodist Medical Center. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church in Claxton. She retired from the City of Oak Ridge, the Utility Board in 1985. She loved gardening and flowers. She was preceded in death by: her parents, Willie W. & Lucinda Franse Yarnell; sisters, Minnie Seale, Lucinda, Joanna Chamberlain, Oalean Howard, Noarean Tripp; brothers, Samuel, Richard, K.P. & J. D. Yarnell. Survivors: sister Evelyn Doughty of Claxton, TN; Clinton, TN; several nieces & nephews and host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 17, 2010 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 in the chapel of Holley-Gamble Funeral Home. Interment will follow the service at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton in charge of all arrangements.
