2017. Darrel Hayes, age 60, of Caryville, passed away at home after an extended illness on Wednesday, September 27, 2017. He was born in Lafollette, TN to the late Robert Sidney and Eva Mae Nighbert Hayes. Darrel was a member of the Vasper Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Darrel is preceded in death by grandparents, Lloyd and Grace Highbert.

The family will receive at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Caryville on Saturday, September 30, 2017 from 5-7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with Pastor David Seals officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the New Vasper Cemetery for an 11:00AM interment.
