Pauline "Polly" Fletcher Williams, age 90, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Morning Pointe Assisted Living. She retired from Union Carbide as a chemical operator after 40 years of service. She was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Charlie Williams; parents, Clyde and Mae Fletcher; sister-in-law, Lilly Shiflet & husband Carl, Charlene Wisecup, Opal Carey; brother-in-law, Ed Williams; special friends, Bill and Mary Hicks, J.B. and Aileen Portwood.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Monday, July 22, 2013 at St. Marks United Methodist Church with funeral services to follow with the Rev. Donald Swift and Rev. John Anderson officiating. The family will have a private graveside service at Woodhaven Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to St. Marks United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund, 225 N. Main Street, Clinton, TN 37716 or the American Cancer Society.
