Obituary


Pauline (Polly) Ellen Luethke, age 90 of Knox, TN went to be with the Lord April 2, 2015. She worked at Camel Back Inn in Scottsdale, AZ as a hostess, as well as in retail sales and health care for many years before retiring due to her health. She was preceded in death by her husband, John J. Luethke; parents Leonard and Ethel Grubbs; son, Jarrell Luethke; brother Leonard Grubbs, Jr.; sisters, Doris Powell, Betty and Gladys Grubbs; niece, Pamela Crosby and nephew Billy Powell.
She is survived by daughter, Karen Luethke; son, John J. Luethke, Jr. and wife Laura; grandchildren Kristi Mount, Marcy Settle, Ann Rhea and husband Billy, Keith Luethke and wife April; 10 great grandchildren- Shianne, Tyler, Bentley, Chloe, Autumn, Valery, Nate, Destiny, Ashley and Isabella; 1 special great great grandson Zaylin; sister Louise Maxwell; nieces, Carolyn Bailey, Connie Ogle and Cindy Coll of Phoenix, AZ.
The family would like to thank the staff at Golden Living Center-Windwood in Clinton for their support during Polly's last hours. Also, the family would like to thank David West of Ciderville Music Barn for providing the music for Polly's funeral service
The family will receive friends Monday, April 6, 2015 from 5:30 to 7:30PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Service will follow at 7:30PM with Rev. O.W. (Dub) Grubbs and Rev. David Peters officiating. Graveside services will be 10:00AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Book Walter Cemetery. Pallbearers: Keith Luethke, Billy Rhea, Tyler Settle, Mike Luethke, James Grubbs and David West. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. www.holleygamble.com
