Paul Thomas Leinart, age 61 of Rocky Top, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. Paul was born on May 28, 1954 in Anderson County to the late Paul Leinart and Margie Daugherty Leinart. He was a loyal husband and best friend for 41 years to Sharon Wilson Leinart. Paul was a dedicated father and grandfather and loved his beloved pet Pepe. He was a member of Briceville First Baptist Church. Paul was a devoted member of the Firefighter Brotherhood. He always dreamed as a little boy of becoming a fireman. He worked hard, became a fireman and was able to live out his lifelong dream. He served as a fireman for over 35 years. During this time, he served as fireman at K-25 Gaseous Diffusion Plant and Y-12 National Security Complex for 24 years. He also served as member and Secretary/Treasurer of Medford Volunteer Fire Department for many years. Paul enjoyed camping, fishing, going to the beach and spending time with his family. Paul is preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Rocky Top on Thursday, June 18, 2015 from 5-7PM with the Funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with the Rev. Tom Byrge officiating. The family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Friday, June 19, 2015 at 9:00AM and go in funeral procession to the Sulfur Springs Cemetery for a 10:00AM interment.
