Jones, Paul Jackson-age 83, longtime resident of Norris, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2011. He was born in Jonesborough, Tennessee, on August 20, 1927. He served his country in the Army Air Force during World War II. He retired from ORNL/Martin Marietta. He is preceded in death by his parents, James Benjamin and Callie Draughn Smith Jones; siblings, James Benjamin Jones Jr., Elizabeth Jones Shell, and Violet Jones Fogg. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Brenda and Bill Miller of Powell, Paula and Bob Riggs of Norris, and Mary and Steve Murphy of Clinton; siblings, J.W. Jones, Tom Jones, and Ira Jones; grandchildren and spouses, Patrick Riggs, Alison Miller, Nick and Shelby Riggs, and Emily and Nathan Hutton; great grandchildren, Anna Riggs, Will Riggs, and Cora Riggs; special friend, Carolyn Brooks. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 8, 2011, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home, Clinton. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Gardens, Norris.
