Patricia "Pat" Bishop, age 73, of Knoxville passed away April 28, 2015 at Tennova Residential Hospice. Pat started the Baptist Home Health and Hospice in Knoxville and later started the Infusion Therapy Program at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. After 30 years of nursing she went into the ministry and became a United Methodist Church minister for 10 years before retiring. She was the minister at Valley View UMC, Heiskell UMC, Bells Campground UMC, Spring Creek UMC, and Calhoun UMC. She is preceded in death by parents, one brother and 4 sisters.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Faith United Methodist Church, Bldg. Fund, 1120 Dry Gap Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 1st, from 4-6 PM at Faith United Methodist Church. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Barbara Clark, Rev. Katherine Nance, and Rev.
