Oscar Pointer, age 74 of Clinton, passed away at his home Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Oscar was a longtime member of the Anderson County Fair Association and worked for many years on the Anderson County Rescue Squad. His past time was spent working in his garden.

Preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Giles; parents, James E. and Mary Ellen Smith Pointer; 9 brothers

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 15th from 5-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Clayton Duncan officiating.
