Swanson, Opal Harless-age 90, of Clinton, Tn. went to be with Jesus, Sunday, July 22, 2012. Opal was born in Union County, Tn. on November 28, 1921 to Jesse and Nerva Harless.


In addition to her parents, Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Richard H. Swanson, sister, Dorothy Sims, brothers, Robert and Hillard Harless, and grandson, Jesse Swanson.


Surviving are her children, Richard C. Swanson and Mary Lou Johnson, Step-son and daughter, Buddy Nelson and Alta; grandsons, Bill Lindberg, Pat Lindberg and wife, Nancy, Tony Anzilone and wife, Shannon; sister, Erma Lee Hill and husband, Clyde, brother, Carl Harless and wife, Barbara; 14 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; Special nieces and nephews and their spouses.
