Opal Fritts, age 84, a lifelong resident of Heiskell went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, January 22, 2025. She was born in Heiskell, TN to the late George and Cora Crawford Jennings on November 1, 1940. Opal was member of the Deep Springs Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all. In addition to her parents, Opal is preceded in death by loving husband of 50 years Kenneth Fritts; brothers Everett and Roger Jennings; sister Olga Bumgardner.

Opal is survived by her children Kimberly Fritts, Julia Guettner (Scott) and Samuel Fritts (Stacey); grandchildren Samatha Vega (Carlis), Garrett Guettner, and Lincoln Fritts; great grandchildren Ayler, Ayla and Adrian Vega; several nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of other loved ones.

The family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Saturday, January 25, 2025, from 2:00-4:00PM. Family and friends will meet at Sartin Cemetery on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at 2:00PM for Opal's graveside funeral service.
