Angels in heaven rejoiced when Ollie Jane Hooks of Heiskell passed away Saturday, May 28, 2011 surrounded by family & a host of friends. Awaiting her arrival was her Savior Jesus Christ with her parents, Owen & Irene Walker.

Ollie is survived by her husband of 54 years, Rev. J.F. Hooks. She is a member of Bible Way Baptist Church of God, pastor Rev. Owen "Bubby" Hooks.

Her children, Janice Lloyd, Jenny Sue Hooks, Rev. Owen "Bubby" Hooks & wife Teresa, Brenda Thornton & husband Gary, David, Mary & Luther Hooks.

She was mamaw to grandchildren: Johnathon Lloyd, Benji Lloyd & wife Nicole, J.J. Hooks, Tammy Cox & husband Josh, Crystal Ryan & husband Travis, Johnny Hooks, Sonya & Kyle Thornton, Melinda Phillips & husband Justin.

He was great mamaw to Shelby, Michael, Tyler, Summer & Isaac Lloyd, Justin & Mandy Cox, Bryssen & Nataley Hooks, Daniel Ryan & Blake Phillips.

She was sister to Shirley Sands, Martha Myers and husband David, Sammie Dake, Vivian Kelly, William Walker & wife Mickey & Bobby Walker. She also leaves behind special friends; Travis Poore, Deanna Haynes, & Jean Fraker.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 8:00PM with Rev. Randy Comer and Rev. George Michael Hooks officiating.

Interment will be Wednesday June 1st at 11:00AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
