Odus Walker, age 95 of Clinton went home to be with the Lord, Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at Park West Hospital in Knoxville. He was born March 26, 1915 in the Bethel Valley community in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church of Clinton. He was employed by Walker Chevrolet in Clinton for many years. Before retirement, he and his son were the owners of Walkers Body Shop in Norris.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Margaret Ford Walker; parents, William & Eliza Diggs Walker; all his brothers and sisters and son-in-law, Lester Elkins.
Survivors include sons, Jackie Walker & wife Norma of Andersonville, Billy Walker and wife Kay, Dewey Walker & wife Becky, all of Clinton. Daughters include Barbara Elkins, Mary Paskell & husband Shannon, Carolyn Oxendine and husband Ray, all of Clinton, & Ethel Davis & husband Roger of Andersonville; son-in-law, Hubert Webber of Clinton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Walker was blessed with 20 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 26, 2010 from 1-3 at Bethel Baptist Church with funeral following at 3:00 pm with Rev. J. C. Newman officiating. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements.
