Obituary


Oddlee "Lee" Sexton passed this life March 24th, 2012 at his home in Oak Ridge, TN. He was born Nov. 22, 1943 in Caryville, TN. He was a member of Black Oak Baptist Church. He served in the Army and National Guard for 20 years. He worked for the Tennessee Department of Corrections at Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary for 20 years. Lee loved wood working and making toys and furniture for his grandchildren. He also enjoyed cooking for family events.

He was preceded in death by parents Frank and Betty Sexton, brothers, Duncan Sexton and D.T. Sexton, and sister, Kathleen Shelton.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years Pat Sexton, son Nathanial Sexton and grandson Conner Davis, Stepsons Keith Davis and wife Dana, Mark Davis and wife Lara, and step- grandchildren, Autumn, Haley, Dalton and Tucker.

Lee is also survived by his sister, Judy Dameron of Caryville, TN and brother, Cade Sexton of Caryville, TN along with many nieces and nephews.

The family would like thank Michelle, Stacy, Gerry and Erica from Avalon Hospice Edna and Mary Ballard, Pat Berhens, Mark, Lara Keith and Dana for all their help.

Family will receive friends at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton on March, 27, 2012 from 1:30-3PM with graveside services to follow at the Black Oak Cemetery in Clinton, TN.
