Nila E. Osborne age 95 of Clinton, born February 29, 1920, passed away after a lengthy illness July 11, 2015 at her home. She was a devoted and loving mother and homemaker. Her passion was quilting, crocheting, working in her flower gardens, and bird watching. Nila was also an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Fitshugh Lee and Flossie McConnell; husband, Robert C. Osborne; son, J.T. Osborne. She is survived by her daughter and caregiver, Carol Smith; grandson, Steven Smith and wife Linda; daughter, Linda Osborne; son, Bobby Osborne and wife Sue; grandchildren, Eric Nelson and wife Shauna, David Jay Osborne and Carrie Osborne; great grandchildren, Kenley Nelson, Carter Nelson, Avery Jade Osborne and Jaggar Tate Osborne; special nieces, Dorothy Osborne, Ann Atkins and husband Harry, Betty Kramer and Vivian Osborne along with other nieces and nephews.
Services for Nila were held July 15, 2015 at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton.
