Nancy went home peacefully on a glorious Easter Sunday surrounded by family.  She retired from Y-12 and enjoyed a long and wonderful life filled with church, crafting, baking bread, family and friends.  Nancy was an active member of St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris for many years participating in the altar guild and the outreach committee.  She also volunteered with the Norris Area Food Pantry and ACCAC.

Preceding her in death are her parents, John A Walker and Martha E Goddard, brothers Kenneth Walker and Winston Walker, sister Kathy Walker, daughter Martha L Bridges and daughter in law Tami Carroll.  Survivors include her son, James (Alex) Carroll, daughter Cathy Freels (Doug), son in law Jake Bridges, Steve Drevik (Leeann).  Grandchildren, Bret Freels, Lindsey Bridges, Lauren Ragland (Eric), Mitchell Bridges (Chris), Abigail Drevik (Colin). Great Grands, Elijah Gremillion, Riley Freels, Benjamin Ragland and Jacob Ragland.  And many special friends.

The family would like to thank Amedisys for the wonderful care, concern and assistance for Nancy. Services will be held at a later date at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Norris.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Nancy's name to the church, St. Francis Episcopal in Norris or the charity of choice.
