The oldest member of Black Oak Baptist, Minnie Ollie Terry, age 92, of Clinton, went home to be with God on October 1, 2011.

She was preceded in death in death by her husband Harmon Terry, their daughter Ruth Faye, three brothers (Delmer, Leroy, and Eddie Anderson), three sisters (Ovie Miller, an infant sister, and Bertha Miller) and parents (Ethel and Proctor Anderson).

She is survived by son Haskell of Ridgefield, WA, daughter Alma (Bob Ledford), of Clinton, daughter Pauline, (Larry Kesterson) of Clinton, daughter Brenda (Greg Smith) of Clinton, son Anthony Terry of Portland, OR, daughter Beverly, (Randy Gibson) of Clinton. She has 9 grandchildren, Tony Terry, Shelby Terry, Sandra (Jay Tibbs), Desember Brucher, Jodi (Jon Campbell), Kesha Terry, Kristi (Shane Webb), Mitzi Kesterson, and Amanda Ledford and 8 great-grandchildren, Reagan and Reese Tibbs, Saul and Sullivan Brucher, Katie Smith and Tiffany Aders, Ethan Mowery, and Kade Webb.

Family and friends night will be held on Wednesday, October 5th from 6-8PM at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 8:00PM. Burial will be at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 6th at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of the arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
