Mildred W.McCoy, age 90 of Lake City, passed away peacefully March 16, 2015 at Methodist Medical Center with her family by her side. Although she faced many challenges in her journey she never wavered in her faith. She was the foundation of her family and an inspiration to all who knew her. She spent many years as a LPN at Methodist Medical Center in Oak Ridge. She cared for and gave both physical and emotional support for her family and her friends. She will be sorely missed. Mildred was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, Cas McCoy; daughter, Judy Freeman; father, William Branum; mother, Viola Loy Barnett; granddaughter, Kimberly Gayle Phillips; grandson, Pierce Freeman.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 19th from 7-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. Eddie McCoy and Rev. Larry Ridenour officiating.
