Mildred B. Beets, age 76 of Clinton, went home to live with Jesus on December 9, 2015. She was a member of Second Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and enjoyed singing at church. Mildred was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching the games. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceded in death by her parents, Herschel and Clara Byrd.

Martin B. Beets and wife Angel
Daughter: Amy L. Boring and husband Keith
Brothers: Donald Byrd and wife Jan
Ray Byrd and wife Lori
Grandchildren: Jacob and Jessica Boring, Taylor and Dallas Beets, and Zoey and Mya Beets

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 10th from 6-8 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Dr. Michael Thompson and Rev. Joel Dew officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, December 11th at 10:00 AM at Woodhaven Memorial Gardens in Claxton for graveside service.
