Michael Scot Stooksbury, age 51, of Clinton, passed away on Saturday, August 31, 2024.  Michael was born on April 27, 1973, in Dalton, Georgia, graduated from Anderson County High School in 1991, and was of the Baptist Faith.  Michael was a family man; his pride and joy were his two daughters, Stephanie and Blakely. Throughout his life, he loved playing X-Box, watching movies, especially Sci-Fi and Star Wars movies, shooting guns, and spending time with family.

Michael is survived by his daughters, Stephanie Brooks & husband Austin of Clinton and Blakely Stooksbury of Clinton; parents, Jerry and Wanda Stooksbury of Clinton; grandson, Stetson Brooks of Clinton; sister, Sarah Trepanier & husband Chad of Clinton; aunt, Janet Hawkins & husband Dan; several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm at Holley Gamble Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.  His service will follow in the chapel with Rev. Mark Dison officiating.  His graveside will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, at Norris Memorial Garden.  Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements.  holleygamble.com
