Michael Zachary Smith, age 38, passed away on May 16, 2025, at his residence in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  He was born on June 19, 1986, in Knoxville, Tennessee.

In his spare time, Michael enjoyed being outdoors, exploring caves, and studying Native American History. He also was an avid sports fan and could tell you anything you wanted to know about any sport, and any player. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Raylan.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert Bailey Sr. and Eleanor Bailey; grandfather, Willie Smith; and father, Michael R. Smith.

He is survived by his son, Raylan Smith; mother, Kimberly Smith; mother of his child, Amanda Jenkins; brother, Zane Smith and wife Morgan; nephews and niece; Carson Hargett, Haley Smith, Jackson Smith, and Isaac Smith; special K9 companion, Hercules. As well as many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM, Saturday, May 24, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home, with a funeral service to follow, with Rev. Mark Kitts officiating.
