Michael James Hackworth, age 42 of Clinton passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2016. Michael was an avid Braves fan and loved spending time with his children. Michael was currently teaching business classes at Tennessee Tech and substitute teaching for the Anderson County School System. Michael was active in raising money for the East Tennessee Children's Hospital, working with the March of Dimes and volunteering for the Marlow Fire Department. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Marshall Hackworth.

The family will receive friends 5:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services to follow.
