Michael P. Duncan (Mike), age 77 of Powell, Tennessee died August 8, 2025, at Tennova North Medical Center. He was recently diagnosed with lung cancer.
Mike was born in Knoxville, Tennessee November 1, 1947, and grew up in the Claxton community. He was a 1966 graduate from Clinton High School and then volunteered in the U.S. Navy serving on the USS Essex aircraft carrier and then on the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier.
Mike was a member of Edgemoor Baptist Church.  He was a retired iron worker and construction worker.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents William Paul Duncan and Corine Lenora Dodd Duncan, his brother Tom Duncan and nephew Benjamin Duncan.
He is survived by his sister Sylvia Davis, brother, Steve Duncan (DiAnna), and sister Elaine Frame (Mike) and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at the Veteran Cemetery in Knoxville, TN at a later date.
