Obituary


Max T. Glandon, age 75, of Powell, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, November 26, 2013. Max retired from Y-12 as an electrician after 43 years of service and was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an active member of Valley View United Methodist Church and was active in their Second Harvest Food Bank Ministry. Max and his wife Gloria loved to travel and camp but most of all loved spending time with his grandchildren. Preceded in death by son, Brian Glandon; parents, Charlie and Dossie Glandon; brothers, Emil, Ken, and Gary Glandon.

He is survived by:

Kevin Glandon & wife Stephanie of Birmingham, AL
Daughter-in-law. Celeste Glandon of Chattanooga

Rachel Glandon, Nathan Glandon, Loveday Glandon,
John Glandon, and Cole Glandon

The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 pm, Friday, November 29, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Paige Wimberly officiating. His graveside will be 11:00 am, Saturday at the Woodhaven Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorials be made to Valley View United Methodist Church, 815 Old Edgemoor Lane, Clinton, TN 37716.
