Mary Lou Stooksbury, age 71, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at UT Hospital. She was a resident at Meadow View Assisted Living in Clinton. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired teacher of Anderson County. Preceded in death by husband, Esco W. Stooksbury; parents, George W. Miller and Mary Longmire Miller; brothers, Esco & Vasco Miller; sister, Gladys Miller; niece, Linda S. Phillips; nephew, Lynn (Smoky) Miller; sister-in-law, Pearl Miller; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Azale and Ray Hutchison, Hettie and Glenn Tudor, Beatrice and Eddie Stooksbury, Beulah and Lillard Stokes, Willie and Veron Snoderly.

She is survived by:
Son Jimmy & wife Sandy
Grandchildren.. William, Stacy and Ashley Stooksbury
Nephews.. Glenn & wife Henrietta Miller
Jim & wife Diane Miller

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Holley Gamble Funeral Home with funeral services following in the chapel with Rev. Mike Keck officiating. The burial will be 1:00 pm, Thursday at Norris Memorial Garden. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is in charge of all arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
