Mary Ruth Evans, age 70 of Clinton, passed away at her residence Thursday, July 18, 2013. She was born 1942 in Blacky, KY to Gordon and Mae Disney. Mary was a member of Poplar Creek Baptist Church and a member of Clinton Homettes. She was married 53 years to Bill Evans.

Preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Mae Disney; sisters, Margaret Corder, Lila Graham; brother, James Disney.

Son: Darrell and Celeste Evans
Daughter: Christie and Stan MacIntyre
Three grandchildren: Evan MacIntyre, Brianna Evans, and Whitley MacIntyre
Nieces: Clara Settles, Leola Miller, Phyllis Miller, Patsy Harness
Nephews: Hershell Disney and Dwight Coggins


The family will receive friends Saturday, July 20th from 1-4pm at South Clinton Baptist Church. Funeral service will be at 4 o'clock with Rev. Steve Evans and Rev. Donnie Moore officiating.
