Mary Lowe, age 83 of Knoxville, passed away on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at the Tennova Medical Center in Knoxville. Mary was born on June 11, 1929 in New River, Tennessee to the late Benjamin and Sally Duncan Phillips. She loved sewing and making her own dresses. Recently, Mary enjoyed watching Dancing with the Stars and the Olympics. She was very proud of the United States teams for doing so well. She was dearly loved and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Elzeck Lowe; Daughter, Ruth B. Trail; Infant daughter, Merry Christmas Lowe and several brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends at the Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Friday, September 14, 2012 from Noon - 2PM with the funeral service to follow at 2:00PM.
