Mary Ruth Beech, age 83, of Lake City, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at the Summit View Healthcare Center in Lake City. Mary Ruth was born on October 2, 1930 in Lake City, Tennessee to the late Henry and Emma Hatmaker Beech. She was a longtime member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mary Ruth enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing. In addition to her parents Mary Ruth is preceded in death by, Brothers, William Henry Beech Jr., Fred Beech, Roy Beech; Sisters, Carrie Mae Foust and Onetta Craig.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Lake City on Monday, December 9, 2013 from 5-7PM with the funeral service to follow at 7:00PM with the Rev. Larry Foust and Rev. James Lane officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 10:30AM and go in funeral procession to the Oak Grove Cemetery for an 11:00AM interment.www.holleygamblefh.com
