Mart Hembree, age 80 of the Vasper community, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on May 6, 1936 to the late Hurstle and Zelma Hutchinson Hembree in Campbell County. He was a member of the Vasper Baptist Church. Mart enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing and was an avid outdoors man. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids and great grandkids. In addition to his parents Mart is preceded in death by his Brothers, Bill and Lonnie Hembree.

The family will receive friends at the Holley-Gamble Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6-8pm with the funeral service to follow at 8pm with the Rev. David Seals and Rev. Kenny Gillum officiating. Family and friends wishing to attend graveside services will meet at the funeral home on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 10:30am and go in funeral procession to the New Vasper Cemetery for an 11am interment. www.holleygamble.com
