Mark Dwight Oaks, age 63 of Caryville, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born on June 24, 1955 to the late Clarence Dewayne and Lois Louise Lawson Oaks in Lafollette. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. Mark enjoyed working with his computer and playing pool. He loved his friends and his dachshunds.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, James Oaks.

He is survived by: children, Tara Oaks, Anthony Oaks; sister, Delores Miller; former wife, Donna Oaks; grandchildren, Tyler Mangum, Xavier Oaks, Sammy Nelson; great-grandchildren, Skylen Mangum, Gabriella Mangum; several nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
