Marjorie Ervin Obituary

Marjorie Ervin, formerly of the Claxton Community, passed away on April 14, 2011 at the age of 86. She is preceded in death by her parents, J.J. and Lena Bailey, and her son Kenneth Ervin. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Kit C. Ervin, her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Phillip Fairchild of Loudon, TN, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Toni Ervin of Augusta, GA, and daughter-in-law, Doris Ervin of Michigan. Marjorie was the beloved grandmother to 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 3 great, great-grandchildren. Memorials may be gifted to the United Methodist Women at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Clinton, where she was a long-time member.
The family will receive friends Saturday, April 16, 2011, from 10-11AM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will start at 11:00AM with Rev. Wayne Hedrick and Rev. Donald Swift officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery of Clinton. Holley-Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.holleygamblefh.com
