Marie I. Amerine, age 84 of Clinton, passed away July 21, 2011. She was a member of Second Baptist Church of Clinton. Marie was a very loving lady and showed it in all things she did throughout her life. She enjoyed cooking and working in her flower garden. She had a love for animals and supported area animal shelters. She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Preceded in death by her husband, Kyle Amerine; parents, Edward and Minnie Foust; son, Kyle Amerine, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharron and husband Raymond Jones; grandchildren, Lisa and husband Sherman Meade, Michael and wife Lecia Jones; step great granddaughter, Amber Stocks; loving friend, Shadow Hunter.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations please be made to the St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
The family will receive friends Sunday, July 24, 2011 from 2-4PM at Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Graveside service will be Monday, July 25th at 3:00PM at Pleasant View Baptist Church Cemetery in Clinton. Chaplain Phil Groos and Rev. Earl Wilson will be officiating. Holley Gamble Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
