Margie Lee Clotfelter Gladding, 85, of Little River, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025.

Born in LaFollette, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Robert U. Clotfelter and Dorothy Lee Glandon Clotfelter, and the stepdaughter of Louise Warren Hamlin.

Margie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred Gladding. Together, they shared a life of love, adventure, and travel throughout Fred's professional baseball career as a player and coach.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Mike Findlay; her grandchildren, Amanda Todd (and husband Cody), Carson Findlay, and Chase Jordan.

Margie loved her family dearly and found joy in travel, flowers, ice cream, and chocolate, and cookies. Her grace, warmth, and generous spirit touched everyone who knew her.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 16, at Woodhaven Memorial Garden, 160 Edgemoor Rd., Powell, TN 37849.

Arrangements are by Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton, Tennessee.
