Margaret (Peggy) Anastasio Varnadoe of Knoxville departed this life peacefully on October 24, 2015, at the age of 64. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and nurse. Born in Syracuse, New York, her family moved around until settling in Midland, Texas. She then attended the University of Texas at Austin and worked at Texas Children's Hospital in Houston where she met her husband. They then moved various times until residing in Knoxville where she was a neonatal nurse at UT, St. Mary's, and Children's.

Peggy was preceded in death by parents, John and Dorothy Anastasio.

Peggy is survived by her husband Ed, brother and niece John Anastasio and Daniella; daughter and son-in-law Julie and Chris Thompson; daughter and son-in-law Sarah and Matt Pulliam; granddaughters Anna Claire, Madeline, and Lily Kate.

The family will receive friends Monday, October 26, 2015 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow the visitation at Holley-Gamble with Rev.
