OBITUARY FOR MARGARET ARCHER SUTTON


MARGARET ARCHER SUTTON, age 98 of Norris, TN, born December 31, 1912 in Morristown, TN, passed away September 25, 2011 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Clinton, TN. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Norris and long time proprietor of "the store" in Norris.

Preceded in death by husbands Robert S. Archer and Herbert M. Sutton; Son, David E. Archer; Granddaughter, Anna Margaret Archer; Father, James Alexander Smith; Mother, Margaret Alice Woods Smith; four sisters and three brothers.

Survived by Son and Daughter-in-Law Robert S. Archer, Jr. and Monica, Knoxville, TN; Son and Daughter-in-Law James P. Archer and Iladeanne (Dean), Madison, MS; Son, G. William Archer, Norris, TN; Grandsons Robert Archer & wife, Kate; Scott Archer & wife, Lorna Doone; Doug Archer & wife, Lara; six great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 28th from 4-6 PM at Holley-Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton. Funeral service will follow with Rev. David Seiber officiating. Interment will be Thursday, September 29th at Norris Memorial Gardens in Norris, TN.
